Has anyone installed one of these yet on a KX-DT346? Can't find any documentation on the BTS site. Does it come with a bluetooth headset or can you use any bluetooth headset?

The module doesn't come with a headset. You can use any bluetooth headset. Instructions come with the module. YOu will need to "register" the headset to the phone. Depending on what brand and type of headset you have will dictate how you register it to the module.

Thanks, I actually found some info on the BTS site when I watched a video on the DECT cordless phones.

I found there is a long delay(2-3 seconds) between pressing the button on headset to speech path opening to caller

I recently experienced similar problems mentioned by OBT with the bluetooth module, so I opted to install a plantronics CS55 instead to avoid customer complaints. NO problem registering 307 to the phone but clicking the answer button was hit or miss on internal & external incoming calls. Sometimes it took a couple of pushes others, one push, others no answer. Anyone have better luck with it or suggestions to improve the functions of it?

Headset needs to be bluetooth 2.0. Version 2.1 headsets are hit or miss. It may or may not register and if it does, you get no audio in either direction. Ran into that yesterday with a new Plantronics headset. :bang:

I think cordless headsets are a waste, you have to be at the phone to transfer or hold the call.
If they do want a cordless headset I use the CS55 or 70. with the lifter. and it can be used on the dt 321 or the dt333

I agree with OBT. My suggetion is to use a plain SLI cordless phone with a wired headset and decent beltclip or holster.
