Hello (again). I have a station ( x35 ) with the message waiting light flashing. When it's pressed it calls x32 intercom line (regular intercom call, not a "page" to it) instead of VM retrieval. I've had the x35 client press the button, calls x32 and have had the called station pick up the phone receiver and answer the call. Didn't clear the problem. Also had x32 use INT, #409. This turned off the light, until he received another VM, then the problem returned. ALSO had x32 use INT, dialed x35 and while ringing had them dial 77 (to turn off auto callback). No help. AARRGGHHHH! Any ideas?

Strata DK424, PDKU2 station cards, with Contact DK VM card. This morning I'm going to power cycle the whole system, and then retry above steps. Any added ideas would be most appreciated.

You said you did Int. #409 on x-32, in your post you said the MSG light was flashing on x-35, you need to do #409 on x-35 not x-32

OK. You're right, I should have noted that I did that on BOTH phones. I've also had both ext's call the other, and then pressed 77 to cancel the msg callback feature. I've now power cycled the system, with no better luck.

#409 DOES turn off the msg light. But when x35 receives another voicemail msg, the light goes back on. Then when it's pressed, it calls x32 rather than the voicemail system. I've redone the #656 and #657 routines... no help.

Proceduures from OLD Contact Manual:

Redo program 656 and 657 at both phones.

[Int] # 6 5 6 # [extension] [redial] [Spkr.]

[Int] # 6 5 7 * [extension] [redial] [Spkr.]

Note that the 91 normally used is now a # and the 92 normally used is a *. The old manual says this is REQUIRED.

This might fix it. Trust THE Bunnie

Look at program 13 and make sure that it's the lowest vm port.

Check program 31 and see if the port for extension 32 is programmed for a voice mail port.
