Hi,
I'm trying to use the SLT port on a CIX40 to call the PDN of a multiple call group to achieve a "ring-all."
I assigned the PDN and populated the group.
When I call the PDN, I get an error tone.
What am I missing?
Thanks for your help.

If you could tell us what you're trying to accomplish we might be able to come up with a more elegant solution for you.

Hi,
I have to connect a non-Toshiba door box to the system. It needs an analog station port on which to speed-dial a code which will ring all phones.
The only way I could come up with a solution was the multiple call group but I can't get it to work.

Does it work when dialed from a digital phone?

Have it dial a phantom directory number and program a key for the PhDN on all the digital sets.

The MCG should work if it is setup correctly. Just to get the terms correct, when you say you dial the PDN, do you mean the extension assigned to the MCG? Usually PDN is the Primary extension numbers, which are extension numbers on the phones. For the MCGs we assign them a group Pilot number.

So you created you MCG, created the pilot number, added extensions (PDNs), and when you call the extension you get a busy?

Normally I am not the biggest fan of Phantoms, but they do have their place. This is one case where I would pick a phantom over a MCG and put the PhDN on all phones. This way people can till at a glance that someone is at the door. You could even git the button a different ring.

Hi,
In Prog. 206 when I try to program the PhDN, it gives me error code 80 that it doesn't exist and I can't figure out where to go to create it.
I thought that Prog. 206 would create it.

You create PhDNs in station assignment, under the Key tab - program 205.
