If you haven't already, add a few seconds of 'ring delay time' (FLASH 40. Page C) to each trunk. Maybe 4-5 seconds.

You may have a firmware issue with the caller ID daughter boards on your line cards. Earlier versions had a problem that was corrected with a firmware upgrade (chip replacement). If you contact Vodavi's technical support department, they can help you determine if you need this, and if so, they will send you the chips. Call them at 800-356-7279.

i had this issue on a sts before, it ended up being high voltage on the lines. But try adding a few seconds on there for the delay so the caller id collect and EV is right i've heard the same thing that they are talking about.

this is still a nitemare. i had bell out there and they check the votage on the lines it was good. bell guy my friend, i watch him do it the caller id came up on his tester every time. i tryed puting 10 second on the lines that still didn't work. vodavi told me to take the ground off that didn't work. then we did a trace on the system email to tech support. they are now sending out a trace box that hooks up to the caller id card. i have to hook my lap top to the box and run it for a couple of hours then email with the trace and see what happing. one good thing it's my office this is happening too.

The STS does have a issue with the firmware. In order to tell what version you have, you have to turn off the ksu and pull the CID module on the underside you should see a part number and revision number, the version number is something like 1.0C, if this is the version you have, then you do in fact have a problem with the module. You then need to call vodavi and tell them the version number and they will ship you out version 1.0d. hope this hepls
