Have a site that has a problem with the CID not recording for both answered & not answered calls. New firmware from Vodavi changed CID operation. Anybody else having problems with Caller ID.

I'd make sure that the ring delay timer is set for at least one full ring cycle (about six seconds) in programming. Otherwise, if the call is answered quickly, the data won't be captured.

I have it set for 5 sec delay. all calls are by VM then forwarded. Calls are considered answered when voice mail answers them from what tech support tells me. trying to find good work around.

This was given to me by nfcphoneman and is not in the book. To turn on the CID tables, flas 05 btn 21 0 disable 1 enable. Fixed my problem with no log.

Thanks justbill, I did find out about that from tech support. I also found out that with the new firmware all calls are considered answered when setup with auto attendant so there is no unanswered log, so they dont know what calls were answered or not answered.
