Dial the station you're trying to get. Once you get a busy signal, press the "Camp On" button. The busy station will recieve a muted ring. The called station can press the Camp On button and their existing call will be put on hold and they can converse with the new caller.

Thanks for the reply, the customer is currently using voicemail, when you call the busy station it goes directly to VM. What do you do then?

Remove call forwarding to that station.

Lift the handset,or press the on/off key.
either press the FWD button, dial 640 or 662.
You will get a confirmation tone and the FWD
light will go out.

George

The program i used for station application only.

If he removes internal call forward, that will effect more than one station.

I thought he was saying to a station, not system wide, which would be a difference,Correct ?

No, it's on a per station basis. F50, B2. Which we normally do not use, so it never crossed my mind that Camp On would send someone to voice-mail. Good catch!

It would depend why or how the call was being forward via, station or system.

We would have to be on site to see just what was
going on IMHO.

George is right, and Larry is right. And me ?
I will get over it.

If nothing was indicated on the screen, or keyset lights, then yes Internal forward removal would apply.

Just to add a few nickels into the pool here: The camp-on feature can ONLY be used when calling a station that DOESN'T have some form of busy forwarding enabled.

The camp-on feature can only be used on internal calls, and therefore any "in-use" forwarding treatments that are programmed by the installer (or turned-on by users) will override this feature.

Busy forwarding needs to be removed from the station, either through system programming (F50/Pg.C/B2) or user feature (640/662)operation.

In essence, if a busy signal isn't received when calling an extension that's in use, then the callback feature can't be applied. You can use the MSG (message waiting feature) though.
