Does the STSe have have capability to add a Virtual MBX under the button on another phone?
I thought it did,.... but can't seem to locate the programming?

thanks.

It needs to be a MBX only so that someone can reach this mbx thru auto attendant and then be retreived by a desiginated person.

thanks,

Sure. It is in the User Guide under "Mailbox Buttons."

Basically, you dial SPD + SPD + 440 + XXX. XXX would be the mailbox number.

Here is what i done just this past week.

Use code 461 and the mailbox number you want (virtual), programming it on the operators dss/blf.
I set mailbox options to direct transfer to voicemail for that box. (virtual)

This was on an inskin voicemail.

I guess what Larry said would work, never tried it that way.

The light stayed solid when voicemail was left for that button. ( No msg wait flash on keyset)
but im sure you may be able to clean that up also maybe ?

Hey, don't forget the "push the button" part before dialing 460. It will never work if you don't.
