I usually work on Samsungs, ShoreTel and Nortel, so of course my boss has me trying to program a Vodavi!!!
I beleive it is a STSe I am programming with a StarPlus STS 24 button phone.
I have figured out (somewhat) how to assign a line to a key, but how do I assign a DID to a key? This company at one time, had 6 POTS lines, which were on all the phones, but only actually rang at certain stations (they appeared at the rest). They have since installed a PRI, taking the POTS lines away. The last vendor (which did not do well, so the customer wont use them anymore) assigned Park keys to buttons 1,5, and 9, so when they get a incoming call from the main DID (8000, last four digits) they have to park the call, then page the intended party. They dislike this greatly. So, all I want to do is get rid of those and place the main DID on buttons 1,5, and 9. then stick them on all the phones, having them ring on some and not on others, since they want the old POTS feel. Can I put 3 appearances of the main DID on everyones phone? The DID I want to place is assigned to Route 090, any help would be appreciated.

You're going down the wrong bunny trail. DIDs are not assigned to keys. They are assigned to stations via ring routes. PRI and POTS lines are two entirely different creatures. PRI by its nature requires abandoning a square Key system design and using the PBX Hyrbid configuration. That means Loop/Pool keys and Park keys. The former vendor simply may have not adequately explained this.
Now if you want to Micky Mouse around with it, you can assign all your active PRI channels to the flex buttons. If you have 23 channels, you would assign flex buttons 1-23 to them. This is obviously a wasteful use of buttons.
Another Rube Goldberg effort would be to create virtual stations, point DIDs to those stations, then assign call cover buttons to receive ringing calls all over the office but you would still also need park keys.
If you have money to throw around, you could install a SLT board, point the DID's to them, and then connect the SLTs to CO lines. Another terrible idea. But by now, I think you get the picture.

Dave,
Thanks for your response.
I see what you are saying, that assigning a DID to a key isnt going to happen on Vodavi, my Norstar background is messing with my head, where you can assign DID's to keys and have up to 8 appearances of the same DID on each phone. My 2nd plan was to add stations to a hunt group which has the main DID assigned to it. Looking at the book, if I can get it assigned, I should be able to assign it to a key. But then I have the issue if more than than one call comes in, Any ideas what I should do then?( assuming I can assign a DID to a hunt group)
If not can you explain how I can assign a loop key to others in the building so more people can answer the main line?
Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the Norstar but I know I did that on the old SRX PBX with Psuedo Stations that could emulate CO Lines as such. Using virtual numbers on a Vodavi system could be done with incoming calls, but once you attempt to use hold, it operates as a station hold, not a system hold.
Loop keys are assigned in station programming Flash 50 (and/or Flash 51). You can create as many loop keys as a station may need. DID routes are assigned in Flash 44 and ringing routes are assigned in Flash 43. Should you program an all ring hunt group as a ring route, you can use its overflow settings. Otherwise, just use the preset items in flash 43 to get unanswered calls into voice mail. There are a few steps involved in doing that, but hopefully you get the idea. BTW, remember when using loop keys that an in-use loop key is only lit on the phone that has it in use. All other loop keys on the system are dark.
