Hey everyone. I'm a Toshiba guy, and don't program NEC systems very often.

I have a customer who has a NEC Electra Elite 48 with the built in voice mail card. The receptionist extension is 102, and she can't check her voice mail because the previous receptionist doesn't remember the password. Is there a shortcut to reset the mailbox for Ext. 102 so I can reset the password back to default?

Thanks

Yes. Log into the admin mailbox and you will be able to make the change. The original vendor most likely gave them an instruction sheet for this.

If not, shoot me an email with a number for the customer's voicemail phone number; I'll see if I can reset it for you. [email protected]

Thanks for the info telephoneguy. I finally figured out that the admin mailbox was set up on Ext. 100 and got in fine and reset mailbox 102 and fixed the problem.

Thanks again!
