Just had a NEC 120 batteries go bad and it was intergrated with a Lingo 4 port voicemail. Working with IPK's and Elites with VMS and VMP we set the ports as we would with them but all we get right is the main greeting of the Lingo voicemail I checked the NEC 120 manual it suggests program numbers 1-3-01 1-3-05 thru 1-3-10 but I have no idea what these are supposed to be set at. Any ideas or suggestions other than telling them to trash that Lingo and upgrade. Thanks, Don

I may be mistaken but I think the lingo used a emulation board in it that emulated a digital station port. so you would not set the port as a VM port. So if you set MB 7 for Digital Voice mail port that may be the problem.

i'm thinking that it used analog ports and dtmf integration. at least that is what it used on a level 1. and it's the same lingo for the level 1 and level 2.
i'd really have to dig to find the installers book for it.
do you have any analog ports?
