Hi guys, this is my first time here, and hope find some help, rsrs, and help too.
I need to set up two systems, 1 SL1000 and 1 SV8100, using SIP Trunks. The problem is, the 2 systems have to do a tandem connection, in both sides. To perform this operation, I'm using Sip Trunks as Tie-Lines. Everything is ok, I can make calls from any side through the other, but I can't call the extension using DID translation. the main problem is: final project uses 3 SV8100 and 31 SL100, and we must to create a "routing table", as we've noticed different sites have the same extension range. I'm using the code, e.g: #412000 ( # + site (xx) + ST ), delete 2 digits and send 12000 to the other system, by program 10-23. There, I have to analyze 12000 and route this call to ST 2000, or delete digit 1. This operation works well when using DID trunks, but not using Tie Line trunks.
Thanks
Fabio

I don't have 2 switch but just wonder if you can do a proof of concept with DID -> VE -> CFW all tru SIP tie trunk to second switch . Second switch take the incoming and manupulate and send to destination ext or VE ? It might be not practical if you have large DID block though.

Madwok, I'm using this programming. it works, but I'm looking for a "cleaner" solution. But thanks anyway.

Hi Fabio, you will be restricted by the small DDI translation table on the SL1100, but don't forget you should be able to use a wild card in the DDI translation table, perhaps if you configure 22-11 as below this would work for you?
22-11-01 = 12@@@ 22-11-03 = 2@@@
When DDI 12002 for example is received it should goto extension 2002.
This will allow you to use f-route to send the appropriate digits to the SIP trunks which will then be analysed by 10-23.

If you really wanted to use tie lines then you could setup f-route in your numbering plan, so that the received digits are treated, then dialled internally.
