I've been using a pocket pc for a few months now and one thing has me stumped. I keep the sync craddle at the office but but I would like to also be able to use the wireless to sync with my laptop(also wireless) at home. The instructions I have found leave alot to be desired. Do I have to have a machine with Exchange Server running on it to be able to sync using wireless? At one point I was able to "see" the laptop from the Pocket PC and vice/versa but I still can not get them to sync. Any tips would be appreciated. If it matters, it's a Hipaq 2415.

You can use the Infrared connection to sync effortlessly if your laptop has it. As I recall, the first time you set it up you'll need the cradle.
That's how I sync my Ipaq and love it that way.

You'll need to create a partnership and sync it oncw with the cradle, then you'll be able to go wireless. Here's a great site on the subject: https://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html

Thanks, guys! The infared port would have been too easy, laptop does not have that option. I was able to get it going with the instructions found at aximsite. Appreciate it!

Bluetooth would be an option as well, but you would most likely need an adaptor for the laptop, and the pocketPC may not have bluetooth built in.

Pocket PC 2003 allowed for hotsync by 802.11. Microsoft took that ability away with the introduction of Mobile 5.
