We have a Polycom IP Video phone that connects with up to 3 other offices at a time. One of our Partners wants to show a DVD over the conference. anyone know if this is possible, or the best way to implement?

Plug the DVD player into an RCA input and change your source.
Or if you are using a visual concert box and are enabled for people + conent IP, run the DVD off of a computer and start streaming.

you saying that the Polycom will display DVD while carrying on a Video Conference?
The equipment is Polycom VSX 7000s connecting to 3 other sites. this operation would take up one of the four channels, right?

"this operation would take up one of the four channels, right?" Not really, it's IP connect so you have whatever bandwidth you specificy.
Do you have people + IP conent IP enabled? and a visula concert box (a box with a play and stop button)? If so, this is so easy that my users set these things up. Just connect the laptop press play and what ever is on the laptop will display on all screens. The video conference will continue to take place in the PIP.
