I have a medical office that is moving out of their existing suite and into a new office across town. The management company would like to make their existing PBX (Non IP) tie into the phone system at the new office.
They are having a P2P T1 Installed.
I'm thinking :
(Existing PBX)-->(Adtran 850)-->(Adtran Router)<---P2P-->(Adtran Router)-->(Adtran 850)-->CO line ports on ESI Switch.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding ‘cause my coffee ain’t fully kicked in yet… but I think I’m missing something on your bigger picture as what you’re trying to do.
As I read your post now… It sounds like your customer is vacating their existing location to the new location but abandoning their existing PBX at their old location. … And you need to toe ‘em together.
It’s probably ME but I think I’m missing something.
You need to know what kind of P2P they are ordering.Is it a full T1? If it is not IP is the PBX going to provide analog trunks as lines (DCS) or 2 way DID, such as E&M , maybe even PRI. Data on that T1 too?
