HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM SEVERAL CUSTOMERS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH CALLS HANDLED BY AUTO ATTENDENT THAT ARE BEING RECALLED TO THE MAIN GREETING INSTEAD OF THE MAILBOX GREETING. I HAVE CALL FORWARD NO ANS SET IN EACH MAILBOX TO 433 AT 18 SEC. THIS IS A RANDOM PROBLEM, NOT HAPPEN ALL OF THE TIME.?

are these calls that are being transfered by the auto attendant and then get recalled to the main greeting? It sounds like a timing issue, transfer recall is 18 sec's. If you have your pre determined ext. call foward time set to the same, you have a race going on. If the transfer recall wins, it goes to the main greeting, if the call forward to VM wins it gets the mailbox.
At least that's what it sounds like to me.

THE TRANSFER RECALL TIMER IS SET AT DEFAULT-30 SEC-ON PAST SOFTWARE, IF YOU DO NOT SET THE PRESET CALL FORWARD, THE CALL WOULD STILL RETURN TO MAILBOX GREETING-
