My Fluke dsp-2000 ,remote end will not hold a charge,I called my buddy at Graybar who made a call to Fluke. When he called back , he said he was quoted $1000.00 Does anyone know a least cost route on a repair ,HELP!

is the battery user replaceable?
very first instinct when you say it will not hold a charge is that you have a bad battery, or a short to ground somewhere inside the unit causing a constant drain

I have the same problem - I just plug the charger in while I test. Pretty inconvenient though.
