They have to be programmed to ring on the incoming call or they won't wake up. Mark

Yup. Either place them in an answering position or make them a member of a UCD group which is in an answering position.

Thanks for responding. It is in a UCD group. I've taken it out and put it as the second member in the answer position after the UCD group. I've tried replacing the phone and KSU. I can't think of any other customer that uses one in a primary answering position so I wasn't sure if this was common.

Just to chime in slightly off-topic about a cordless phone on the analog port. Customer had me include it in the UCD group, but the "call-waiting" tone for an incoming calls was so loud, he had me take it out. I tried it myself and sure 'nuff...it gets your attention.

You must change the camp on interval to "0" to make the call waiting ring burst quit. There is a tech bullitin for dx80 about this.
