I have a customer that has a Samsung OS100 system with release 2 software. The software version is 2.66. The system was installed about one year ago. I recently programmed the system for caller ID. All programming is fine in regards to caller ID. I cannot get caller ID to work. I have verified that the telco is sending caller ID, also have tested with a separate caller ID box on the lines. Have tried swapping out the misc3 card with a new misc3 card. No luck. I have called Samsung tech support, they do not know why it does not work. I have also adjusted the CID MSG Receive timer in MMC 501. Still no luck. Could it be the CPU? CPU software level? The system is in Kelowna, BC, Canada. The reason I mention location is that, was there not a problem with caller ID with software version 2.66 in Canada? Any ideas anyone?

As long as MMC 312 Clip send/Receive is set to on you should be ok. Although Samsung did miss the the feature out on some software levels, but tech support should know this. Ask them to check the 'bug' list for 2.66
I think the issues were only with DMS-10 / DMS-100 central offices, the CID levels with respect to the line are a little hot compared to the GTD-5's everywhere else in the province. I believe 2.72 has addressed that problem.
