I have a client that recently acquired a DS616 system that would like some programming done. I've searched all over and can't seem to find a Manual that covers the setup, did find the user/ admin guides though. I would like to default and start from scratch with the programming.
Any help or a location to find the manual would be great.

I did try them but they only have the same manuals I already found. I was hoping there was some type of Technical manual or something that covers in detail the programming procedures from scratch.

The manuals are in two of the links that I checked in there. They are the manuals you are looking for. You need to subscribe to them in order to get the "tech manual".  to the board.

I'll go back through the links as I likely just missed them the first time around.
We are an Authorized Avaya partner so I totally understand the costs involved with getting/ maintaining the required certs and qualifications.
We normally redirect clients that own switches we don't maintain but this particular one had some real bad experiences with local Samsung dealers and the only other company around told them that the system was antiquated and wouldn't help them out (read: only wanted to sell them a new switch).
And I was willing to purchase a manual if it was reasonable and I could assure it covered what I needed. I guess I'm jut a little spoiled, or maybe jealous, in that Avaya decides to have all their manuals for free downloading. Which causes more problems than help sometimes.

First they dont have the manual LRB is looking for second with such an outstanding title such as yours. (Systems Engineer for Iwatsu, 3Com, Avaya, NEC, Fonality, Asterisk, Samsung) you would think you understood a tech manual when you saw one.

Also there is a Release 1 which used only the DS24 phones and a Release 2 which used both the DS24 phones and the 8, 18, 28 button iDCS phones.
99% of the MMCs are shared by most systems from the start of the old DCS. Newer systems have more MMCs but 99% of those in the 616R! or 6161R2 would be in the compact or old DCS.
