an answering service with LOTS of single line service. Of the 18 lines in now, only two have rollover lines and 14 singles.
need to add a few more line ports. already have 1 408 module on it. I know the system is a black box 1632. the 408 module is also black.
I have a beige 408 module, will it work? I know the analog box could go on either, don't know about the digital.

FoneGuy: The capacity of a 1632 is 16 lines and 32 phones---that's it. You don't have 18 lines in that KSU--and you can't add any more if you have 16. Or are you saying "lines" and "line ports" when you mean "stations" or "extensions" or "station ports"?

You're slipping there Mick....you CAN add 2 408 expansions to a 16X32 to go to a 24X48 config.

And your beige or light gray 408 will not work. That's for a DSU-2 not a DSU.
