I know what you mean. With the old fx and the newer you have so many things to watch for. Are the cabinets black or grey?

ok the newer cabinets still dont work !!! Crap !! We have the ribbon cable plugged into j7 to j9 of the second cabinet.....when we power it on the vmail keeps resetting and we cant log into the main cabinet....when we disconnect the second cabinet it works fine...any suggestions ?

Are you using the buffer cards on the ribbon cable? If yes take them off. Do you have 4 LEDs on the backplane of each cabinet?

no buffer cards and yup we have the four lights on in both cabinets...this is kinda driving us crazy !! lol !

You sure you skipped a slot in the expansion cabinet correct? J9 is not the bottom slot...
