what can make the extension not to go directly through the main switchboard/receptionist phone,calls come directly from outside to the one extension in samsung idcs 500 system.

For incoming calls----In MMC 406 mention the Trunk no. and Ext no where you need to ring that perticuler line.
For out going calls----In MMC 614 assign Ext. group for that perticuler ext. no and same MMC 614 assign Trunk group for perticuler Trunk line.
in MMC 304 assign that ext group and trunk group for dial yes ans yes .
