Greetings all:
I am installing (attempting) a new Samsung DCS Compact phone system in my house. I have a few questions...
1. What is cross-connect and how do I cable my 66 block for it? I am assuming "first pair terms to pins 1 and 26, second pair 2, and 27, etc"?
2. I have purchased the 66 block and a cable with an amphenol connector. I have seen wiring color codes online, and want to make this job right. How do I terminate my extensions/C.O. to the 66 block.
3. In terminating the block, Is it correct to simply follow the pairs straight down the block, or is there a specific order for doing so?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Jason

Jason:
Welcome to the board.
Where is the manual that you purchased with the system?? All pin-outs should be explained there.
Every system is a bit different.
If you did not get a manual with your new system---ask the company you bought it from to please give it to you. You need not only that, but also user guides. Those items are all part of the system.
