Hi, I have a customer that requires two T1 circuits to be extended approx. 600' from the network interface. These need to be in an aerial cable (self supporting type) if possible. The aerial cable will be placed on customer owned poles. I have looked at General Cable, Anxiter and Essex products but have not found a cable with my specific requirements. I need the cable to be shielded or screened with the transmit and receive pairs isolated from each other or I guess I could use two seperate cables. A six pair or 12 pair cable would be fine. A individually shielded aerial 6 pair service drop would be ok. Any suggestion of where I might find this type of cable or service wire is appreciated.

Google "Clifford of Vermont". Phone 1-800-451-4381. Tell them what your situation is and what you want. They can come up with a solution. Good Luck.

I believe that you will be hard-pressed to find a T-Screen cable that is self supporting in that size. It's also difficult to find shielded cable with a support strand that is smaller than 1/4". That stuff is VERY tough to work with.

You may be better off running two separate six pair drop wires. Don't forget to purchase the drop wire clamps, hooks, protectors (not the cheap punch-down ones), etc. while you have Clifford on the phone. They carry everything you'll need.
