S-Class, line groups. Programming the line groups through the handset, does not result in the line pick up order desired. We have reduced to 2 lines, and have reprogrammed the system to just these 2 lines, under group 9 (via INSTALLER menu 2,1). But when we hit 9 to get an outside line it still activates line 5? what is up.

Something is obviously wacky - get tech support to dial in and see what is happening when you dial 9.

Put line 5 in group 8, just for testing. Then delete it.
If all else fails, use a BFH.

Bingo - that did it, reassign the lines to group 8 - thanks so much. All is good now.

A few things to remember: 1. All lines are by default in line group 9, once you go in and look at them for the first time (before that, it's like they are there but not told to use 9). 2. The S-Class and IVX 20's for some reason have a separate line group program for day and night. This means that you could potentially have programmed line groups in day mode and assumed it was then the same in night mode. This isn't in fact the case, so whatever line group changes you make in day mode, you have to repeat in night mode. 3. Remember that to remove line group programming from a line, and to make it an "inbound only" (or for not using at all), press Hold instead of dialing a line group code. This is when you are in line programming. ------------------ | Signal Communication Systems - Fresno, CA | | Telephone Systems, Voicemail Syste... & Data Cabling - Central Valley, CA

Oh yeah, one other thing... bumdude, please complete your profile (in full). We like to know a little bit about who we are helping out. I'm assuming at this point that you are an end user? ------------------ | Signal Communication Systems - Fresno, CA | | Telephone Systems, Voicemail Syste... & Data Cabling - Central Valley, CA
