Wanted to say again, I LOVE this BB. Since my agency has switched to the ESI IVX 256x, we have been more productive than ever, communications have improved between remote offices due to the ESI Link, and most of the problems (which there aren't many) have been fixed by very easy solutions, or by my Installer or ESI TS remotely. I do have a small problem, and it is not really a big deal. I use ESI's VIP Professional on my PC and when I first started using it, if a call came in, I had a small yellow-ish box appear in the bottom right corner of my screen with Caller ID information. This was very useful, especially when I am already on another call and need to see who is calling in. For some reason, those screen pops are not coming up anymore. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to bring them back? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the double submission. I always forget to check the box for notifications for this post. It is always nice to know when a reply has been posted.

No problem for the second post. FYI: you can actually go back and Edit the original post, and check the box for notification, without having to make any other changes, and without a second post. I do this all the time because I always forget to check the box.

Glad to hear the good report about your system.

As for the little yellow box, there should be checkboxes in VIP settings, to determine what you want to see in the yellow box.

Well, I have not changed anything, and the check boxes are checked to give me the caller ID and voicemail and missed call notifications, but I am not getting them. Do you have any ideas? BTW, Thanks for letting me know that I can edit the original post. I didn't know that I could do that, and I will have to do that from now on. Thanks.

Yes, the screen pops have been missing for a couple of weeks now. I take my PC with me every night so that I can do some minor work from home, but once I leave the office I never open Outlook b/c I know that VIP can't communicate with the NSP and I don't want to take the chance of messing up my VIP by doing so.

BCHD, FYI it won't harm your VIP/Outlook to run it while away from the office, I do it every night with my laptop. It simply will give you an annoying popup box saying that the NSP was not found.

I am still unable to get my screen pops working again. I even uninstalled and reinstalled VIP Pro on my PC and I can't seem to get them back working. The box for the "Mini-Display" is checked, but greyed out so that I can't check or uncheck it. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I is really nice to look at the bottom of my screen when I have a second call coming in and I can see who it is since I only have number caller ID.

Try uninstalling VIP AND removing all ESI / VIP registry keys. Reboot, then reinstall.

what version of VIP are you using , my boss was having the same problems and I upgraded his VIP to 3.14.3 , and I also noticed that in his add-ons in outlook VIP was unchecked , all seems fine now.
