After successfully upgrading a 600 communication server, my attempts to upload the prompts that go with that have not been so lucky.

I am missing about 5 that I know of, of course I know there are probably more that I am missing.
Does anyone know of a master sheet with ESI's prompt files and their description. It would make my life so much easier. Research on past topics seem to allude to such a thing.

Thank you all for your time.

When loading prompts you will need to only load about 6-10 at a time. I did the same thing and found I was missing some. I was told by tech support to try loading less at one time and see how that worked.

There is a tech bulletin (#282) on loading prompts. If you follow it you shouldn't have any problems. I've found that prompts take a while to "settle in" after loading sucessfully. If you try to load software right after loading prompts you're asking for trouble. When you power cycle you will lose all your new prompts. If you are on the site, monitor the serial port with hyperterminal after loading the prompts. It will tell you when they have been "extracted" successfully, which can take quite a few minutes. Then you can go on and load soaftware with confidence.

Thanks Guys for all your help.

Going back there again on monday to try to get my missing prompts in. This time I am not leaving until I hear the system playing them, not going to rely on ESI's line about "too many files at a time, full buffers, and idle time etc."

Thanks Again
