Okay, so I'm responsible for everything that plugs into the wall at my work. Somehow, they expect me to know everything about everything but unfortunately, TelCo stuff is not in my "wheelhouse".
We've got an ESI IVX 128-Plus phone system. The box is making a hell of a racket and after a little "investigation" I'm thinking the hard drive is getting ready to go south. (PCs are in my wheelhouse so...)
If anyone has a drive for this lovely machine, could you PM me?
Thanks!
<Edit> Our local installer quoted me $xxxx for the new hard drive and that just seemed a little steep. Am I being unrealistic or is our vendor?

The hard drive has proprietary software and it isn't a case of your installer going to the computer store and buying a replacement drive for a hundred bucks and copying the data over.
He has to buy one from ESI and then after it is installed your system needs to be reprogrammed from scratch and all of the users need to redo their voicemail, program buttons etc so it could become time consuming.
But.... if you do it yourself or have someone else do it will your local installer still service your system if you need it?
