i have just received my license and downloaded the new iwatsu softphone. i install it and set it for logical port 209 with ext. 333 and it will not register when i start the software.
i can make outgoing calls, but not incoming.
what did i miss? support is kind of hard to get.

If you can make outgoing calls, the switch sees your phone. If incoming calls are failing it's probably a numbering conflict. The system assigns the extension number by virtue of the port programming in the ECS , not the software installation. You may have an access code or another extension number of 333 already programmed. Check system numbering- if a conflict exists it will be spelled out for you.
All of this is, of course based upon proper port configuration in the ECS.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
