OK guys, I have one for you. I have seen a type of grounding connector that can best be discribed as looking like a finger splint. The pairs go through a hole in the end. It clamps/crimps to the shield. It has a lug to go on a post in the NID for grounding. I have been all over the net and can not seem to find them. Any ideas?

No, it is not a bond braid. The connector go on the corrigated metal shield.

I know exactly what you are speaking of. They were made by Communication Technology Corp, which has been bought out by T&B. It was referred to as the "C4047 G protector clip". It is now made by Electric Motion Company. HERE is a link to it.

Nice link Ed. :thumb: I still have a bunch of the rigid F-ground clamps. I might use one every couple years.

Thanks, Bill. I just hope I was close with my mighty authoritative "I know exactly......" statement. I love those things because they are so easy, and have found that they yield fewer "pinched pair" troubles than the ones that rely upon a set screw applied by someone who barely knows which end of a screwdriver to hold, if you know what I mean.
