Guys, I got this phone for 4 bucks and it doesn't work so I am attempting to fix.
I can't find a decent schematic so I know what should go where. Anybody have one?

I can't get dialtone. Tried the handset on another phone and it works fine.

Use your buttset on the network & see where you can get DT except of course for L1 & L2.

If it's not the handset or the cord, my guess would be the dial pad.
But Dave is right using Tommy's schematics trace DT through the set using your butt set . Make sure it's coming in OK and then, if it is trace through the set and see where you lose it.

And it could also be the switch hooks best bet use a toner on continuaty to test with.
