I have a 16 channel DVR that has 1 channel that has horizontal ghosting lines that move from bottom to top.

Looking for ideas on what causes this.

Here is what I know about the situation.

1. Problem stays with coax run, switching out camera or moving to a different port doesn't clear up the problem

2. camera is mounted 2 feet away from an exit sign (led bulbs) and 3 feet from a Wireless Access Point. Closest fluorescent bulb is about 10 feet away

3. Constant, night & day, although it is a low light area even in the daytime

4. Ends of coax (rg59 siamese cable) have been reterminated

5. Run is only 40 - 50 yards to DVR, ran in drop ceiling, not in close proximity to an electrical runs

Does anyone know what may be causing this & what I should try to correct this?

Thanks
John

I have had short runs do this in the past and used a ground loop isolator to clear it up. Might be worth a shot they are not to pricey.

ditto anthonyh. I've experience problems like this before, ended up being cable nicked and contact steel strut inside the walls.
