Just like in the icmc version you have to allow the person to have private groups in the subscriber settings.

..unless, after reading your post again, you are trying to send the message directly to a group from a greeting or user mailbox. You have to send the message to a transaction mailbox then take msg->to the group name you assign. I like using dispatch mailboxes.

Thanks for your assistance, do not see anywhere under subscriber box to allow private groups. Here is how i had them set up in iCMC:

Caller calls in hits MB 1234 we insert 1 second of silence into greeting, then goto (T-Box)$1234 (this way we could control greeting to play by time of day) play greeting for caller, allow them to leave message, then take message to (Group Box) $$1234. Message delivery was for multiple people, first one to get message pulled this same message from everyone elses MB.

The dollar signs always made it easy for me to follow call flow.

Went to T-Box did not see a place to allow private groups either an after greeting -> take a message for group was still grayed out, however under messages tab their is an option after taking messages to route elsewhere.

The name on the message group must be numbers or you will not see them. Before it did not matter what the name was but now it does matter and only numbers seem to be accepted. We did the dollar sign in the old iCMC but that does not show up in the new one.

Make the Private group an actual number like.

Private group #800

It will then not be grayed out.

Glad to help...

the bigger systems let you name them just as long as there are no conflicts with the numeric to alpha characters... I know it sound stupid but that's the way it goes I guess.
