Well a typo has really messed me up. Trying to delete 7419 which was a voice page # and forgot to type the "7" which deleted an extention number. Managed to get it back in but now it has the same slot/shelf/ckt number as ext 418.

How do I change the s/s/c number of keyset 419? Tried auto set relocate without luck and NPL Update. Thanks, boy I need to watch my hands when I type!!! mcb

Simple method is to Remove 419 from NPL. Do a PLIS of Dial Num eg 417 to 421. If your numbers are sequential you will see the gap from where 419 is missing from. Then just add it back to NPL

No joy here, but I saved the bread crumb trail. Synopsis: Delete 419, add it back, something gets displayed but an NPL SHOW KEYSET doesn't show it:

Is this possibly a permission problem? We have a login but I suspect it isn't "administrator quality" Hint: When we do PLIS for an extention number the only things we can change is the short and long names.

Thanks again in advance.

Hi, Mike!
Look here, it seems to me the problem is missing parenthesis when you try to ENTER (SHELF,SLOT,CKT) - 0,5,7. And Coral instead of adding number to this address sequentially executes your commands: 0, the 5 (SHOW) and then 7 (PUBLIC LIB), and shows you public libraries.
You have to type (0,5,7) in parenthesis and I suppose everything will be OK!

By jove I think he's got it! Yes, I swear I tried this once. But then I tried so many things it was probably in a bad incantation of the spell!

Thanks again guys! mcb
