We have an iPX-500 (15.84.19 soon to be .24) and are using flexicall. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using flexicall with a long distance cell number where the carrier is sending a tone looking for LD access code. The PRIV LIB is dialing 1262xxxxxxxE0.d1.XXXX. Dialing the lib number from that phone seems to always work, however, when flexicall is active it is only working approx 1/2 the time. The other time the cell phone fails to ring. Any thoughts ??? NOTE ** Cell phone has great reception/service in the office, where this has been tested.

Hmm, have you tried making the d1 a d2? Also you may want to look at taking out the E0. You might want to also use the codes using the DTD detection to make sure the lib is awaiting the dial tone before dialing the code if it is sending dial tone and not just a confirmation tone.

Thanks Coral Tech for your response. I have made the .d1 a .d2. I have also removed the E0, this caused the dial out from PRIV LIB to out pulse the digits, but send tone for LD access code. When the LD access code was entered physically, the call was processed. I will try the DTD detection. Thanks again

Carnes,

Thanks for the information, however, I still couldn't get this to work. When 7001 (PRIV LIB) is dialed it goes out just fine. CF_ALL to 7001 won't work either. ST.T is set OK as well

Try this.

In dial service make sure in the filters to append the code. Then in the dial out on lib use dial service.

Thanks again for your help. Here is the update, I have tried the dtd from Y to N..........same problem. Tried to use the dial serivce/filters....again same issue. The PRIV LIB is now programmed as 1262nnnxxxxE0xxxx. Now it always works when dialing the extention internally, or when the call is x-fer via VM. The problem exists when the DID number is called.
Keyset DEF/COS is programmed the way every other flexicall user is set. Thanks again

Try using the trunk group number in the dial out. Just curious if the ARS is hosing you.
