I've received only 1 spam text message. I've had cell phone service for about 6 years. (Verizon Wireless is my provider).

Lately, I've taken some cuesfrom Howard Stern's folks, and use my telephone recording/playback interface to play soundbites from Full Metal Jacket...
"May I speak to the person who handles you phone service?"
r"What's your name $@umbag!?"
"Excuse me?"
"I like you, hell you could come over and #^@* my sister....."
-click- This reminded me of a crafty old veteran receptionist that asked me to create mailbox #69. I asked her what it was for. She replied it was her "special" mailbox to send telemarketers to. I won't repeat the greeting she recorded!!! --Bill.
