Has anyone had any dealings with this company? How is the customer service and tech support? Are the systems solid?

Oh my, yes they are a great company to work with. Their management consists largely of former Vodavi and Sprint North Supply people and they really go out of their way. You might try doing a search here for them. There's been quite a lot of positive discussion about them lately.

Just remember that their systems are small and that is the way they want things to stay.

Thanks Ed,

The reason I was looking at them, we are looking for a system to offer small businesses. I noticed they have a X16 communication server. It has that if you need VOIP it uses Two telephone line ports. Is that to connect two systems or use some kind of IP phones with the system?

The X16 comes fully equipped for 4 lines and 16 stations. There is an option slot that allows you to add two more CO lines or a two-port SIP module.

Then nice thing about this system is that it allows up to four stations to share the same single pair of wires. Yep, one pair bridged out of the KSU to four separate stations with unique extension numbers and features. Oh and yes, they can all be used simultaneously.

This is great for situations where cabling might be difficult, like in residential installations. No analog station ports or wireless, yet.

XBlue used to be (or is still, not sure of the "offical" details) PCS Digital. As Ed said, many of them were from Vodavi, Sprint and toss in some Comdial/Keyvoice/Mobicel.

Great people to work with from both sides of the fence.

I wonder how they can get 4 stations on one pair of wires? What kind of magic is in there, Ed? :p

I was looking at the X16 diagram on their website. It shows what looks like to be IP terminals on a WAN. Ed, are you saying they can only have two SIP devices? I found out that we are a X-Blue Network dealer thru my partner I just went into business with. If anyone needs work done here in Houston, let me know!!!!

Yes, two sip devices or you can network systems together via SIP.

Ed,

Thanks again for the information. I am sure if you don't mind, would like to pick your brain when the time comes to getting up to speed on this system.
