for anyone who come across an old WE 307A,C phone and need to get it working, heres how.
1. take the jumper on term. C and jump it from C to BL
2. Move the Blue wire from the line cord to terminal E.
3. REMOVE the red wire between terminals R and BK on the dial.
4. move the Black Reciever wire from the BK terminal to the BK berminal on the dial.
5. connect phone phone to the phone line... now it will work!
if you want to convert the phone back to local battery, just reverse the process!
I have 5 of these phones and they all work great! and yes, they are for sale if you're interested!

There are also some rotary phone forum sites that have quite a bit of information on the hundreds of wiring schematics.
