This adapter has a Cisco part number (MOH-USB-AUDIO), but it is a 3rd-party device (UTA3100B USB-Audio Adapter). I've talked with some people who have had limited success with audio quality when connecting an audio source. I'm sure the issues they experienced have to do with the impedance requirements of the device, but I'm not able to locate the actual impedance requirements anywhere. Does anyone know?

I stumbled across this thread that may be of help. Esp. the guy with the iPOD that turned the output down to half level and then the MOH was good. https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/302216?tstart=0&viewcondensed#jive-thread-4 Mic "Line In" is 'usually' about 150 ohms. Hope this helps. John C.

We ended up using one of these , found through the last posted link. Thanks for the lead. The attenuator did the trick. Justin
