What a PIA. Not like just shutting it down and restarting, oh,no. not just go into the config and add the card,oh,no. Need to go thru the phone to add it. ( end of Rant )

Brian. Even the sts you need to do a card slot assignment, seems just because we go up the Tech ladder is it no easier. Is this your work dress code haha.

Why can it only be done through the phone? I have actually been walked through this with tech support and they said the same thing, it can only be done over the phone. What in about in PCAdmin, going into Pre-Programmed -->Configuration-->Select a slot(say 6)--Right click and go to select board-->Choose PRIB
Then do the same for slot 2 and choose Hybrid.. Then reboot..Wouldnt those steps add the PRI Board? Or do I still have to do it through the phone?

I make a template with a fully loaded system and call the file base.usr . I upload that into any new system and then just delete the cards that I do not need before I do any further programming.

PC Admin is how I have always accomplished this. Looks like Brian may be lamenting the fact that the system doesn't self recognize the new boards like many of the Comdial products did.

That is what I tried first, going into the config screen, added the card(which was a 3x8 )', why it had to be in 2 slots is kinda stupid, but, it is what it is, the part that did not work was, I didn't know what to put in the " logical port" , ( i didn't think a reset would do anything, I may have tried, I really don't remember) , tech support walked me thru it, even though some of the info was already there, he had me re enter it anyway.
