First off, I used to install these systems back in the day but I am a bit rusty now. So I inherited the job of maintaining the phone system at my new job. We have a mix of 8, 24 and 30 button phones working on our Mach I KSU. I bought a refurb Full Duplex 30 button for our conference room and it doesn't fully come up. I was replacing an old 24 btn phone so I verified that station lock was not on. Then I tried replacing an existing 30 btn phone on our system and it still would not come up. Is this a software issue? or am I missing something? I don't want to send the phone back until I'm sure I have tried everything to get it to work. The Mach I software is V4.12 P07-2FE2 16 The phone is a 3017-71, Issue 1, Rev 1.6

If I remember correctly, you have the correct software to support the phone. If you replaced it with an existing 30 button phone and it didn't work, it sounds like a bad phone. It shouldn't matter whether or not it is a full duplex phone.

I needed 4.16 for the full duplex to work on my Triad systems and 4.17 for all the uniphones to work. A former Infinite dealer can confirm if you need to upgrade the s/w on your Mach 1.
