I am trying to program remotely via port 5103 through A zywall usg 100 Router and it's not happening. We can see it forward to the SBX but nothing comes back to the router. I am not on site and I only put the ip address in program 108. Does anyone have any ideas? My computer guy says we might need the gateway add., but I havent used that when I used a public ip.

I'm pretty sure it needs to know where the gateway is if it's going to get back out. Program 108, button 4. Keep in mind, your public IP is getting translated when it passes through the router.
I do like those Zywall routers though. They're feature-rich, inexpensive and simple as hell to program.

Thanks for the reply. The site is only 30 miles away, but this is So. Cal. I will stop by next week and add the gateway and cross my fingers.

you also have to reset the system if you made any changes in the IP programming
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
