I have an NEC DSX 80 with the VoIP option installed. Generally the VoIp phones work well. About once a week all VoIP phones somehow get unregistered at the same time. In order to get them registered again I have to reboot the DSX80 host location. Running version 3.42 software. Has anyone else encountered this?
Thanks!

Hey, I have ran into something similar to this. I have a customer with a DSX 40 and a VOIP location and their phones would all drop multiple times a day. It turns out that the problem was with their internet provider. They had part of their static gateway configured wrong and it was losing connection all the time. I even tried to connect the phones with NAT and through a VPN and it didnt make a difference. After the provider corrected their end, the phones have worked flawlessly since then. How do you have the phones connected to the DSX? Is it VPN or NAT?
