GLX- How do I turn off SYS HOLD alarm?? #56415 02/08/07 11:26 AM

OP row Member Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 7 so. cal.	I'm a newbie here. I'm so glad I found this site. I have an Inter-tel GLX (the one with the blue buttons on top. the executive phone?) When I place someone on hold and replace the handset on the cradle, the phone starts to ring (as a reminder) if I don't pick up the handset again after a few seconds. How do I turn this feature off? My phone used to say on hold indefinitely without the ringing but when we had a power outage recently, the hold/ringing feature came on. Now I want to turn that off. Thank in advance.

RCA Member Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 2,500 usa	SPCL 394 won't work with this old dude. Put program switch to ON. At station 10 (operator) dial *120. Pick up then hang up handset. You will hear a conformation tone. Put program switch to off, you done. Rhett
