Got a site running 20 local phones and 20 remote phones. Been having problems mainly with Remotes. Narrowing issues down to possible router (settings) issues (not controlled by me). I Am trying to get ESI stuff on their own network. The only drawback is they are connecting PCs through the Local phones. I am wondering if two IVCs could be on separate networks so I could isolate the remotes to their own router with its own WAN connection.

You can't have IVC's on different subnets (It will work at first but as soon as your power-cycle the system, the second card will not come online) , though they can have different gateways. At the remote site have them set up the DHCP server so your IP phones are all given their own gateway to (your VoIP router). Windows server and many enterprise gateways/routers/firewalls can do this. If you don't control the DHCP at the remote site you'll need to give them a list of MAC addresses.

If your issue is with Cisco POE switches at the remote site, just get the power injectors for each phone and you will solve the problem. I took over a system that another dealer screwed around with for 4 years and could not get the remote phones to stay connected. I took all the phones off the Cisco switches, installed a HP switch and used the individual power injectors at each phone and have had zero problems in three years.
