Just curious if anyone has setup SIP trunks from TWO different providers on the same PBX? If so, did you have to do anything special because of the two different service providers?

We currently have SIP trunks from Broadvox but another provider wants us to use their SIP trunks for demo purposes but we cannot take the Broadvox trunks out of service. So I need both providers to work simultaneously.

That is no problem you set up each trunk with a user name and password so you can have each line with different providers if needed.

Thanks for the answers. I am having trouble with the second provider so I may try it on a different virtual card.

The word is virtual, so it is not a real card just software.
how does the second provider allow access to their system, is it username or IP address you send to them, you may have to use nat trans. what port are you using to register. what ports are forwarded in your router

They want to demo, they need to know the parameters.
