I have a Mitel 5000 system with 5330, 5340 and 5360 phones. Recently I have had memory errors and have tried a couple of times to get that resolved through Mitel but not convinced that it is fully fixed yet. Now, I have several extensions that when a call comes in, it rings once and then disconnects. If it is a transfer call, I can see who transferred the call but not the callerID of the transfer because the time isn't large enough. It also happens if they dial the DID of the extension but then the callerid is accurate. Problem seems to be intermittent. Any suggestions?

First thing to check is the incoming service. Is it PRI or POTS? What you are describing, if it were related to memory, would be universal. The condition would present itself on CO calls, station to station calls and outgoing calls. From the description, it looks like it only happens on incoming CO calls and, if it's a PRI, that's where to begin the search.

Thank you for the response. It is a PRI and it seems to only happen on a couple of extensions. We tried turning off Dynamic Extension and it seemed to go away so I will look further into those settings to see if something was changed.
