Use XP Machine if you cant find drivers for Win7 or use UPCMCv7.2 I could attach the driver for you but am not sure if its allowed, not even provision for attaching is available.
I've searched for the Unified Console. Every site I try it starts downloading immediately, which makes me suspect a malicious site. Any pointers of where I can get it safely? Or any other solution for programming on a Win7 machine?
It's supported on both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7. If you're using the original CD and it's a US version, suspect the problem must be within your PC. Make sure you disable any virus-protection software before attempting the install. That's about the only thing I can think of that would keep it from working.
Otherwise, if you still can't get it to work, do what I any many others here do and just use an older PC. At least in my case, there's always a lot less headaches that way and the software works as far back as Windows 98.
