I'm looking for an easy solution to replace POTS rollover lines coming from local telephone company. The main goal is to be able to use something like an adtran 908 and have 3-4 incoming lines. I do believe Rollover is not possible, but in a conversation with a SIP Provider I was told they sort of do this virtually do this by always trying to find an open path to the gateway. However, I'm not sure if this is possible. What are your recommendations for SIP gateways and SIP providers? What type of configuration would I have to do to accomplish this?

Start with the SIP Provider and see what type of gateways they recommend / approve. Just about any provider can offer what you want.

The providers are recommending an adtran 908 which retails over $1000. I was looking for something much less expensive.

Just do some research. The Adtran 908 can be found for as low as $499, used or $714 new.
