I've got a Vodavi STS that took a dump after a power outage.
Any recommendations on who to repair the two cabinets?
Any experience in this? Is it usually just the motherboard or all cards.
Also if there is a modem card in it, does anyone want to remotely program it, I admit, I'm getting old and forgetful and sometimes it pays to sub the job.
You can PM me or send an email to phones at dock.net
Thanks so much, Bracha

Can't modem if it isn't working at all, in other words if you can't default the main cabinet and get station 100 to work, it is most likely daadn (dead as a door nail). Did you flip switch 8 on the bank of dippys to the opposite direction and reset it?

Not sure if there is a modem in the system, Seth looked at what cabinets are there.
I will be there Tuesday, do I just move switch 8, power down, power up and move switch 8.
I was an Infiniti dealer, Graybar sold this to the tech that disappeared.
Do you know where I would ship the ksus for repair?
Thanks, Bracha

Aztec repair comes to mind first.
Move switch 8 and reset or power down, and only move it back if the ram battery is good. If the battery is bad, the system will crash again next power outage. If it is just a bad battery you can replace that yourself.
